"Agents of Change"

are students empowered to make Contemporary Art with their community promoting initiatives they have elected as important and significant to who they are in the world around them.

The Agents of Change are in grades Kindergarten through 6th working during the school day or in an after school program.

These students are diverse in their ideas, art experiences, learning needs, ethnicity, socioeconomic status and art exposure.  Their instructor, Mary Haddad, has collaborated with artist, curators, the Museum of Contemporary Art and the Art Institute of Chicago to deepen her curriculum and content knowledge in an effort to facilitate meaningful experiences for the students.
